Thank you for considering Cerulean Invitations for your special day. Our goal is to help you to create gorgeous wedding stationery that matches your unique style and requirements. As a result, we have aimed to make our five-step ordering process as simple as possible.
Step 1 – Select your invitation design
Choose a style from our invitation gallery and consult our Font Selection Chart and Colour Selection Chart to customise your selected invitation design to your individual specifications. You can also check out our Wording Ideas page to help you compose the relevant wording for each different wedding stationery item. Finally, select your preferred printing option for your wedding stationery: high-quality white card stock or 100% recycled cream-toned card stock.
Step 2 – Complete the stationery order forms
Once you’ve decided on the perfect design for your wedding invitations, it’s time to get the ball rolling. To start the ordering process, please click on the Order Form button at the top/bottom of this page and fill in the appropriate forms.
Step 3 – Checking PDF proofs
After we have reviewed your stationery order and customised your design selection to suit your specifications, you will receive a digital PDF proof by email. You are then entitled to two further rounds of amendments to the original proof. It is important that you proofread your PDF proofs very carefully to ensure all the relevant details are correct. In fact, we recommend that you get another family member or friend to check them as well since a fresh pair of eyes can make all the difference!
Any additional changes to your design after the two allowed revisions will be charged at the rate of $25.00 per proof.
Step 4 – Payment
All consultations and quotes are provided free of charge. An invoice for payment will be emailed to you once you are satisfied with your digital PDF, and prior to printing. If it would make managing your wedding budget easier, we are able to negotiate a payment plan for your total stationery order.
For our bespoke design service, a 50% deposit is required before any design work is undertaken, with the balance to be paid before the PDF file is sent for printing.
Step 5 – Printing and delivery
Once you have approved and signed off your digital proofs, your PDF file will be sent for printing. Print turn-around times can vary; however, on average you should allow between 2–3 weeks.
Your invitations will be packaged and delivered by Australia Post (via registered mail to ensure your parcel is trackable). Since registered post requires a signature upon receipt, we recommend specifying a daytime address so that you can accept your delivery during business hours.
