All wedding stationery orders that you submit online or otherwise with Cerulean Invitations and www.ceruleaninvitations.com.au will be subject to acceptance in accordance with the following Terms and Conditions:
- Print colours – Colours displayed on this website may vary slightly from the colours on the actual printed stationery items. Cerulean Invitations aims to represent the stationery design colours as accurately as possible but colours may vary from screen to print. For this reason, we recommend all customers request our free colour sample card before placing their stationery order. Cerulean Invitations cannot guarantee that printed colours on wedding stationery produced in two or more separate orders will be identical.
- Sample colour cards – Our free sample colour cards serve to illustrate print quality, card paper quality and print colours but may not exactly match your requirements.
- Print quantities – The minimum number of items that Cerulean Invitations can print for any individual wedding stationery order is 25. Moreover, we recommend that customers order at least 10 additional invitations or other stationery items to cover any last minute changes to the guest list. If you require more invitations once your original print order is complete, you will need to pay an additional $20.00 reprint fee on top of the cost of the invitations and postage.
- Supply of customer information – It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that any information supplied for their wedding stationery order accurate to the best of their knowledge so as to minimise amendments and reproofing. It is also the customer’s responsibility to obtain copyright for any readings, hymns or poems supplied to Cerulean Invitation. We suggest that you consult with whoever is conducting your wedding ceremony for advice. Cerulean Invitations does not accept any responsibility for obtaining copyright.
- Proofs and amendments – Checking and proofreading the stationery PDF proofs is the customer’s ultimate responsibility. The proofs will be sent as an digital PDF file to ensure the customer is satisfied with the wording and layout. Cerulean Invitations will use the wording, colours and layout agreed in your order. Any further changes required to the wording must be emailed to orders@ceruleaninvitation.com.au as soon as possible.
- Signing off proofs – Once the customer is happy with the proofs, we must receive written confirmation (by email or post) that they are satisfied with all elements of the design proof and agree to the stationery items being printed. After the proof has been signed off, any subsequent corrections will result in an additional amendment and reproof fee. If the invitations have already been submitted for printing, a surcharge of $20.00 will be applied for the additional printed invitations. To guarantee delivery of the wedding stationery in time for the wedding date, sign off of the proofs must be received at least six weeks before this date (unless otherwise agreed with Cerulean Invitations).
- Artwork copyright – All artwork and designs in the wedding stationery collection are the copyright of Cerulean Invitations and any reproduction without prior consent is strictly prohibited.
- Timing of orders – Once we have received a customer’s order, we will aim to email a PDF file for each stationery item to them within three working days. Once approved, we endeavour to get the printed stationery delivered to the customer within six weeks. Cerulean Invitations will make every effort to process customers’ orders as quickly as possible but times may vary at busy periods. Timings can change due to circumstances beyond our control, but we will keep customers updated on their order status.
- Prices – Prices shown on Cerulean Invitations website include: typesetting, three rounds of PDF proofs, one full set of envelopes, and printing costs. Cerulean Invitations reserves the right to alter stationery prices at any time without prior notice. Any price change will not affect confirmed orders. If the price on the website is found to be incorrect, we will inform the customer in writing and they can decide whether they wish to continue with the order.
- Delivery – Cerulean Invitations will make every effort to ensure that stationery print parcels are sent and delivered safely and on time. If the Terms and Conditions detailed in ‘Signing off proofs’ above are met, Cerulean Invitations guarantee that parcels will arrive before the customer’s wedding date. A signature will be required on delivery to provide proof of receipt. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that someone is available to accept the parcel. All delivery dates given are estimations. Customers should notify us within seven working days if their order has not arrived after receiving our delivery notification email.
If the parcel is delayed or lost, Cerulean Invitations will try to locate or replace the stationery and seek compensation from the party responsible. If the delay or loss of a stationery order results in it being useless for its original purpose, Cerulean Invitations accepts no liability for any cost additional to that of replacement stationery. The customer will not be entitled to any further claim in respect of the work done nor will they be entitled to treat delivery thereof as a ground for repudiating the contract, failing to pay for the work or cancelling further deliveries. Risk of loss and damage of products passes to the customer on the date when the products are delivered or on the date of first attempted delivery. - Cancellations and refunds – Due to the customisation of wedding stationery, we cannot offer a refund once the PDF proofs have been signed off and printing has commenced, as in the Terms & Conditions detailed in ‘Signing off proofs’, above. We will only offer refunds if the cards are faulty or damaged (see item 12 below).
If a customer has to cancel or postpone their wedding and have only reached the proofing stage in their stationery order, they will be liable for 50% cost of the total order fee. We must be informed in writing as soon as possible.
In the case of our bespoke design service, if the proofing stage has been reached and the customer decides that they no longer require any of the stationery designs commissioned, to cover artwork and admin costs and to protect the rights of Cerulean Invitations, the 50% deposit paid cannot be refunded. This will be advised to the customer at the time of cancellation. - Defective goods and shortages – Upon receipt of the printed stationery items, the customer must examine the goods and inform Cerulean Invitations within seven working days of any apparent damage, defect or shortage in their order. Damaged or defective goods must be returned to us by registered post (postage costs will be reimbursed). Upon receipt of defective goods, we will contact the customer to arrange a replacement or refund. In the event of a claim, settlement will be limited to the value of the defective goods and will in no way extend to consequential loss, howsoever caused.
- Availability – Cerulean Invitations acknowledges orders on the understanding that delivery is subject to availability. If an item is unavailable, Cerulean Invitations will contact the customer and offer an alternative option. If no alternative is acceptable, a full refund will be provided.
- Force majeure – Cerulean Invitations shall be under no liability if unable to carry out any order for any reason beyond its reasonable control including (without limiting the foregoing): Act of God; legislation; war; fire; flood; drought; inadequacy or unsuitability of any instructions, electronic file or other data or materials supplied by the customer; failure of power supply; or owing to any inability to procure materials required for the completion of the order.
- Website information – Cerulean Invitations and www.ceruleaninvitations.com.au have sought to ensure that information provided through this website is accurate. However, we accept no liability for any inaccuracies, errors or omissions in the site through technical or other reasons. We reserve the right at any time and without prior notice to make changes and corrections to the information on the site. Cerulean Invitations does not guarantee the functions of the site will be uninterrupted or error-free or that the site is free of viruses or other harmful components. You will be responsible for the entire cost of all necessary servicing, repair or correction.
Approval and payment of your stationery PDF proof is considered as agreement to these Terms and Conditions. Cerulean Invitations reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any such changes will take effect when posted on the website and it is the customer’s responsibility to read the Terms and Conditions on each occasion they use this website. Continued use of the website shall signify the customer’s acceptance to be bound by the current Terms and Conditions.
